Children Of Teachers You must fill out a
form found at www.factstuitionaid.com
and an internal form found at www.cdeducation.org/teachers.
Both forms need to be completed and received by March 15.
The distribution committee will meet in May and you will be
contacted as to what funds you received.
Under Article 23 we have about $30,000 to distribute to those
teachers who apply. This is
based on financial need. There
is additional financial help through the Diocese of Columbus.

How To Apply For The Pension Retirement
Bonus Article
20.5: Pension Retirement Bonus
– “A teacher who
retires after a minimum of 15
years of service, and who immediately commences receiving pension
benefits, shall be given a retirement bonus of $6,000
for 15 – 17 years of experience, $7,000
for 18 – 22 years of experience, $8,000
for 23 – 29 years of experience, and $9,000
for 30 or more years of experience.
This pension bonus must
be requested in writing by April 15 of the teacher’s last year of
employment.” Please

24.1: VESI – “Eligible
teachers with 18 or more years
of Diocesan full-time teaching experience may choose to voluntarily
resign their employment under the Voluntary Employee Severance Incentive
(VESI). Under VESI a teacher
will receive the total of the current year salary and supplemental pay
for extra duty assignments according to the Agreement.
This severance incentive shall be paid in equal annual
installments over no less than 3 years or over more than 5 years at the
teacher’s option.” Teachers
must submit a written application no later than March 15 of the current
school year in order to qualify for VESI at the end of the school year.
