COACE is the Central Ohio Association of Catholic Educators, an organization of Catholic School Teachers in Franklin County. Each year we award $500 scholarships to eight graders enrolled in one of the Diocesan High Schools. COACE will choose one winner from each elementary school. To be eligible, each school must have 50% or more membership in the organization.
This completed application along with all required forms, must be submitted to the COACE Scholarship Committee by February 3, 2020. Please see your schools due date for submission. Late Applications will not be considered. Your teachers will be responsible for returning your completed application to the Scholarship Committee.
The following forms must be attached to the application:
Photo copy of the Terra Nova Narrative Profile (Your teacher can help you obtain this report)
Photo copy of the first semester Report Card or Progress Report
Service Response (attached to the application)
Extracurricular response (attached to the application)
Essay Response (attached to the application)
Two Recommendation Forms from current teacher(s) and/or principal (attached to the application)
The children of COACE members in good standing are eligible to apply for a COACE High School Scholarship. This is to aid in the cost of tuition and/or academic fees at one of the diocesan high schools located in Franklin County. The five $1000.00 scholarships are awarded based on academic performance, community service, extracurricular activities and financial need.

The Sister Margaret Hoffman OSF COACE Graduation Scholarship
This scholarship is available for any COACE member whose child will graduate from high school this year. COACE will award a $1000 scholarship to three graduating seniors, paid to the colleges the students will attend in the fall.
The awarding of these scholarships is based on academic performance, community service, extracurricular activities, an essay, and letters of recommendation.
Applications for the scholarship are to be postmarked by March 15, 2019and mailed to the COACE address:
